Tensions escalating again with Venezuela

Venezuelanalysis has a collection of news articles that deal with the recent case of a kidnapping in Venezuela and a possible USA connection. It's convoluted and complex and depends upon ever-changing reports, differing opinions, philosophies and interpretations.

The publication also has some other articles regarding current tensions in U.S.-Venezuelan relations. I'm going to put everything in one long post. Long enough that I'm going to direct you to this link if you want to read it. If you aren't interested in the narco-terrorism aspect of our relations with Venezuela, you might be interested in the oil trade. At the end of the post are two articles with links and information about Venezuela's possible oil deals with China and the effect that would have on the U.S., and indirectly on U.S. designs on Cuba.
